Together with Medical Action Myanmar and Foundation Rolf Schnyder, we built the Lotus Clinic in Yangon and ensure its upkeep. The clinic provides countless needy people free medical treatment, food, support and counseling on how to live their lives and HIV/AIDS prevention every day. MAM runs a total of seven clinics, now seeing more than 200,000 patients. Since it works both professionally and cost-effectively, a treatment costs “only” seven Swiss francs. We have taken it upon ourselves to secure the treatment costs of the Lotus Clinic over the long term in order to accord many people medical support, improved health and prospects of a better future.
